Taylor Beckwith, Front Page Editor (9)
Being an involved humanitarian as well as a competitive golfer keeps Taylor Beckwith pretty busy. She has been an avid golfer since she was five years old and after countless summer tournaments, now plays for the girl’s golf team. She kept a 4.0 both years in junior high in all advanced classes and strives to keep her grades up this year as well. She enjoys listening to music, reading mystery novels, babysitting, and tries capturing every moment with her camera. She always takes on physical and mental challenges that pop up in her life. She likes to participate in community service, school clubs, and is involved with her church.
Back in 2010, she founded a project called “Blankets for Babies.” She started this project to collect blankets for the less fortunate by donating blankets to the local homeless shelters like the Modesto Gospel Mission, Red Cross, Good Samaritans, and many more. Since its start, she has collected over a thousand blankets, and is continuing her project this year.Taylor hopes to go to college and become a pediatrician, but until then she remains enthusiastic about starting a new adventure by becoming a part of the Roaring Times!
