Hi, I’m Emma. I’m a 14 year old freshman, and I'll be turning 15 in November 2024. I joined journalism this year because I thought it would be a good way to get my thoughts out there and to make new friends. Some of my hobbies are softball, band, sleeping, eating, playing games, and hanging out with friends. I’m in band here at Pitman, and I play clarinet for the wind ensemble and marching band. I also plan to try out for softball in the spring. Some games I like to play are Minecraft and Roblox.

I started my musical career with the piano, recorder, then ukulele and violin for a few months. I’ve been participating in school band since 5th grade, but it didn’t go well because it was online. But in 7th grade I really started to be involved. That's when I picked up the clarinet and alto saxophone.

My favorite types of books to read are dystopian. One of my favorite series is The Hunger Games series. So, naturally some of my favorite movies are the movie form of the books. Thank you for taking the time to read this bio and I hope you enjoy the articles I wrote/write! :)
