Claire Littlefield, Staff Writer (10)
Claire Littlefield is not your typical fifteen year old sophomore. She has a special little quirk about her. She was adopted from China! Besides this interesting little fact, she is the same as every other student at John H. Pitman High School in Turlock, California. She is an active member of the Pitman High School Marching Band. Claire knows how to play the piano and uses that skill to be part of the PHS Drum line as the mallet player! Claire also runs track for the Pitman High School Track Team! Claire was a competitive gymnast for eight years. She loved it, but the schedule got too time-consuming. Running track fulfills her athletic nature. She is part of Key Club, Journalism Club, FBLA, and Asian Club! Claire loves utilizing all that Pitman has to offer! When Claire grows up she wants to be a pediatrician specializing in neo-natal care, or maybe an oncologist. Claire would love to attend a UC campus when she goes to college. During her free time, Claire loves riding her orange beach cruiser with her friends! Claire is an only child so she loves hanging out with her friends. Claire loves to read! She especially loves Where the Red Fern Grows, Harry Potter, and the Chronicles of Narnia! Claire wishes to backpack Europe one day, just like her sixth grade teacher did. She would also love to go skydiving and swimming with dolphins! Claire likes school, but her favorite part of the day is her fourth period Journalism class!
