Hi! <3 My name is Alexa and I am currently a freshman (class of 2028) here at Pitman. I was born in the Philippines, a country in Southeast Asia. Me and my family moved to the US when I was two. Of course I joined journalism because I enjoy writing. I love that I can express my own opinion or my thoughts into words. I mostly like writing not only on topics that I am passionate about, but also on topics that I am unfamiliar with and that are new to me. In my free time, I really enjoy listening to R&B, traveling to new places, watching movies – especially psychological thrillers, and spending time with family and close friends. Overall, I am really looking forward to learning more this year.
