Hey! I’m Abby, a junior at Pitman High School. This is my first year at this school and my first year in journalism. I’m a military child, so I’ve lived in two countries and four states. I’ve been interested in writing for a really long time, especially when it’s on topics I’m passionate about.

One thing I enjoy doing is watching movies. I love movies so much. If you text me and I don’t respond, it’s safe to assume I’m watching one. My favorite movie director is easily M. Night Shyamalan. His movies fascinate me so much. Aside from that, I’m a big fan of music. I’ve only seen Coldplay in concert, but I plan on going to a lot more concerts in the future. My favorite artist is Malcolm Todd, who I started listening to in February, but instantly loved his music.

My family and I love traveling and we’ve been to over 60 countries as of now. My favorite was Copenhagen, Denmark, because the atmosphere was incredible and I was at an age where I could enjoy it, instead of being 7 years old. I used to enjoy running, as I did cross country and track, but not so much anymore. I really look forward to improving my writing skills and learning more about journalism this year.
