What made you want to pursue teaching as a career?
I knew since third grade I wanted to be a teacher. I would go home after school and teach my teddy bears everything I’d learned at school that day. Ultimately, I knew I was capable of teaching when I had a career in the oil analysis industry and I had to talk to truck drivers about their engine oil. I realized then that I was good at teaching and wanted to continue.
If you weren’t teaching, what would you be doing instead?
I love this profession so much, I couldn’t see myself doing anything else.
What’s your dream country to visit?
I don’t really have just one country I’d like to visit. I’ve been traveling a lot over the last ten years, so my dream continent would be Africa. I’d love to visit all over Africa.
If you could learn any language, what would you learn?
I’m going to Greece this summer, so I’d like to learn Greek.
If you could live in any country, where would you live?
I’d probably live in Mexico because I just love the Mexican culture so much.
