6th Annual Preview of Champions

The Band Review took place at Pitman on the 30th of September. There were 27 different schools from San Joaquin County, Merced County and our own Stanislaus County that came to Pitman for this year’s Band Review. The march started at approximately 9:15 AM and the last school walked at around 11:15 AM. The march started at Pitman and went along Sandstone St and up N Tegner Rd. From there, they took a turn along Golden Oak Ct, down Mountain View and back to Pitman. Back here, there were a variety of food trucks available for our guests as they came back for the rewarding ceremony that took place in the quad. Here is Ruben Modesto, the Pitman band teacher, on who the winners of the event were: “Irvington HS music sweepstakes (highest music score), Golden valley HS marching sweepstakes (highest marching score), showmanship sweepstakes (highest showmanship score) and Parade Sweepstakes (highest overall parade score).” So many bands and spectators came to show their support at this wonderful event.
