Everybody in the world is different, nobody is the same on the planet. So, what makes us different? Something that makes us humans would be our personality. Personality plays a huge role in a person. Understanding the uniqueness and characteristics of people around you can really increase your understanding and also how you may communicate with the person.
There are several ways to figure out what personality type you are, but one that’s often talked about is taking the 16Personalities test. With these short descriptions that the website shares with us, can you connect yourself with one of them?
For each personality-type, it goes deep into your own personality. If you click on a personality, it takes you to a page that shares several different topics. It describes your strengths and weaknesses, romantic relationships, friendships, parenthood, career paths, workplace habits, and the overall conclusion. It’s all a very detailed explanation of the way you are. Most of the time, being completely spot on.
I got an interview with my sister, Roxanne Vasquez, on the subject.
Have you taken the 16Personalities test? If so, what personality were you assigned?
“I just recently took the test, and ended up being an Architect, INTJ-T”.
Do you agree with how the personality was described?
“I do agree with some parts, while I also disagree with others. Something that is a big part of myself is how I tend to have a plan with everything. Architects are described to be strategic thinkers and have a backup plan for every back up plan, and I find that to be incredibly true”.
I recently took the test for my psychology class, and ended up being a part of the explorer group. I was an adventurer. At the end of the test, it gives you percentages of what your personality is. For example, I got 57% introverted and 43% extroverted.
You can definitely take the test yourself and find out what personality you are, and which group you fit into! It is completely free, and totally fun reading up on how you’re like to others, because you can’t really describe yourself from the perspective of others.
