Coronavirus Update

How did coronavirus start and when is it going to end?
So far coronavirus has been all over the world, been to different cities, countries, and infected a lot of people. It all started in Wuhan, China. In Stanislaus County where I live, there are 2,041 cases so far around August 18 – 31 . It’s been spreading a lot because people keep contacting, hanging out with, and talking to each other without a mask – and a mask really helps you to be more safe around people.
If you start hanging out with new people, or people that are not your family, you might get COVID-19. Some symptoms you might have if you contract coronavirus: a cough, fever and chills, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, and sore throat, congestion, runny nose, nausea or vomiting, and diarrhea.
These symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19. But if someone shows the following signs he/she must seek emergency medical care immediately: symptoms: trouble breathing, persistent pain or pressure in the chest, new confusion, inability to wake or stay awake, bluish lips or face.
In the whole wide world there have been 26.1 million cases and 17.3 million of those people have recovered from COVID-19 which means they survived. There also has been 864 thousand deaths that did not survive COVID-19. There have been so many deaths because of Coronavirus that’s why we have to be safe with family and others because we can’t keep adding more to the number of people who get infected.
Other ways to keep you and your family safe is to stay at home, so if you decide to go to the supermarket, make sure you have your mask and hand sanitizer to keep you protected. As well as other methods: drink lots of water and eat well because it’s so important that your body be healthy that we are less likely to catch the coronavirus. And those are some of the ways to stay safe – and some other ways to not be bored at home: you can all play family games all together and have fun as a family.
