Teacher Questions: One Last Thing (Mrs. Olson)

If you could travel anywhere, where would it be and why?

If I could travel anywhere it would be Disney World, I’ve never been there and I love Disneyland. I am a Disney fan and this is the next big step.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I like to watch movies, hang out with friends, do house projects, building, painting, any arts and crafts big or small. I’ve redone almost the whole house little bits at a time.

What is your favorite thing about being a teacher?

My favorite thing about being a teacher is getting kids to that stage where math makes sense.

If you could have a dinner with anyone (dead or alive), who would it be and why?

If I could have a dinner with anyone dead or alive, it’d be with my grandpa who passed away when I was two well, two and a half. I don’t really remember of him but I’d always go to him at parties sit in his lap, or after church. I always hear stories of him and I would like to meet him.

What is your favorite quote you like or one you say often to your students?

My favorite quote is this biblical one Proverbs 3: 5-6 that says: “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your path.”
