Gaga Takes Over Coachella 2017

Just like Lady Gaga’s outfits, the Coachella lineup is always changing. One of the headliners of this years music festival has backed out due to some exciting news.

Earlier in the year, Beyoncé announced that not only was she having another baby, but that she was pregnant with twins! Now yes, you are thinking what thousands of others are thinking… she was still planning on performing at Coachella. Beyoncé had performed at the Grammys and she had that pregnancy glow. She killed it and gave us assurance that she could do the show in April.

Now, Beyoncé’s doctor isn’t allowing her to perform anymore because she will in fact be in her third trimester. She wouldn’t want to risk any problems happening that late in her pregnancy. Instead, she will be performing at Coachella the following year in 2018.

Just because Beyoncé won’t be performing doesn’t mean it will be any less exciting. Lady Gaga will be headlining along with Kendrick Lamar and Radiohead. She has rekindled her fans love by her hot performance at this years Super Bowl. Her songs rose to the top charts just after and she was all over social media.

There were five artists who were considered for this spot at Coachella: Adele, Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Nine Inch Nails, and Lady Gaga.

Lady Gaga, the fame monster, confirmed this in a tweet last week saying, “Let’s party in the desert!”

“It was important to Coachella organizers that a female performer replace Beyoncé, insiders tell Billboard, making Gaga the first woman to headline Coachella since Björk in 2007”, said reporter Dave Brooks.

If you’ve seen Lady Gaga perform before, then you know you’re in for an amazing show. Lady Gaga has even collaborated with Beyoncé in their song “Telephone”.

In her performance at the Grammys this year with Metallica, she proved that she can really do it all. Although there was a mic malfunction, the dress rehearsal video was released and she fit right in with those rock legends.

Lady Gaga “is also due to kick off her world tour in support of her latest album “Joanne” in August”, says NBC News.

With Lady Gaga, you never know what to expect. Maybe she’ll make her entrance by jumping off a plane, or maybe she’ll be thrown into the air… All this to say, you won’t want to miss this year’s Coachella.
