Pusha T, The Next Great Rapper

Pusha T aka Terrence Thornton is a rapper who rose to the top in the year 2002. Most people know him as one half of the group Clipse with his older brother No Malice with their hit song ‘’Grindin’’.

Clipse was active until 2009 when their third and final album dropped. Soon after, Clipse broke up and Pusha T went on to sign with Kanye West’s music label known as GOOD.

He appeared on Kanye’s 2010 album titled My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy on the songs “Runaway” and “So Appalled”. A year later Pusha T went on to release a mixtape titled Fear Of God 2 : Let Us Pray, which has the singles “Trouble On My Mind and My God”.

Pusha T would release singles in 2012 and would be featured on the GOOD compilation album called Cruel Summer. He emerged from the hit “Mercy”. Pusha later on released a diss track called “Exodus 23:1” in which the song it made disses to Drake and Lil Wayne. Early 2013 Pusha would release singles for his first solo album My Name is My Name.

Those singles would include “Pain”, “Sweet Serenade”, “Numbers On The Boards” and “Nostalgia” He would soon after release his first album. Pusha T would still appear on other artists tracks. In late 2014 Pusha T released a single entitled “Lunch Money”, which would give his fans something until next year.

Pusha T in September 2015 would release a single titled “Untouchable” which would be a song on his album King Push: Darkest Before Dawn. After that single Pusha T released 2 singles in December until the release of his album on December 18th.

His album King Push is set for a 2016 release he released a single for the album titled “Drug Dealers Anonymous”, featuring JAY Z. Pusha T is currently the President of GOOD Music and he even wrote a theme song for McDonald’s.

Pusha T, after the release of “My God”, had beef with another rapper. GOOD Music artist Consequence. Consequence would emerge on Twitter claiming that Pusha stole his lyrics and flow from a unreleased song by the two of them called “The Last Supper”.

However, he goes on to release a song called “Everybody Told Me 2”. Pusha would respond by dissing him on the remix of Ace Hood’s “Go and Get it”. Consequence would respond with songs like “Label Killer”. Soon after the beef was ended and Pusha and Consequence would appear on the GOOD music compilation album. Pusha T is one of the greatest lyricists in the rap game, and its tempting to see whats next.
