Evolve was released on Feb 10, 2015 for PlayStation, Xbox One, and PC. The game was developed by Turtle Rock studios. Evolve takes place in a distant planet located in the “Far Arm” of Space. Humans travel to this planet in the future.
In this game, the player can choose to be a monster or a hunter. If they choose to be a monster, they can move quickly and carefully, balancing the need to put distance between themselves and the hunter. They have to be patient if wanting to choose the monster kit because it’s possible to overpower the hunter easily. If the player chooses to be a monster, they can choose between a Kraken, a Goliath, a Wralth, and a Berenoth. If a hunter, it’s important to figure out where the monster is headed, get as many gadgets at possible. The hunter can shoot animals so when monsters eat them, the hunter can track them down. By choosing to be a hunter, the player can be a trapper, support a medic, and an assault class.
There are many game modes in Evolve: Hunt mode, Nest, rescue, and Defend. The most popular game mode is Hunt mode. The good thing about all of these game modes is that they are all straight forward, objective focus styles that make each one of them unique. They all provide opportunities to apply your character skills and gadgets in multiple ways.
It’s rare for a big multiplayer game like Evolve to feel so considered and intelligent. This game takes skill, has good mechanics, and design choice. This really brings the PVP (Player vs Player) out of the game.
Evolve is a rewarding multiplayer game that requires skill and team work. There are many game modes that can be played. Evolve met the expectations of many people.
