“Ms. Anderson, a new chemistry teacher at Pitman High School, begins every day with a contagious smile,” Mirna Shino, a student, expresses, “For a new teacher, she was able to adjust rapidly.”
As a new teacher, one has to get comfortable with students, colleagues, and administrators. Ms. Anderson, who has one and a half year of experience with teaching, is doing just that.
Nahrain Givargiz, a junior at Pitman High School, also offers her input, “She is able to communicate well with her students, and for once in my life I have a class I look forward to each day.”
Being a teacher has its ups and downs, but Ms. Anderson focuses on the positive aspects.
“The most exciting thing about teaching for me is when a student gets it, when they finally understand.” she stated, while a smile appeared on her face.
Ms. Anderson truly enjoys working with people and educating people with chemistry. She understands that science and math will always be in one’s life and this is why she teaches chemistry, to help people succeed in their future.
She is described to be “too kind sometimes”. Nonetheless, which student doesn’t appreciate having a generous teacher? She realizes that students work efficiently when the teacher is motivating, rather than criticizing.
Ms. Anderson is portrayed as an understanding individual. She offers extra help to struggling students, on her own time, outside of class.
Students enjoy learning about chemistry. I guess you can say, this is due to the fact their teacher is Ms. Anderson.
