In November 2004, Jake Lodwick and Zach Klein founded Vimeo. Vimeo is a video sharing website that users can upload, share, and view videos. InterActiveCorp bought Vimeo in August 2006. In February 2013 Vimeo accounted for .11% of all internet bandwidth, following sites such as Youtube and Facebook. When it comes down to being a member of Vimeo, there are three different types of accounts you can have. First there is the free account for regular members. Next there is Vimeo Plus, it is a $60 per month fee that blocks ads and gives you 5 GB of memory per week. Lastly is Vimeo PRO, it is used for business and commercial use. Many people say that Vimeo is better than Youtube for quality, but Youtube still has a bigger user base and fan base. In my opinion Vimeo has much better quality, but I am still an avid Youtube user.
