As the season comes to an end, there are a few exciting accomplishments the volleyball program will hopefully complete. The Junior Varsity volleyball team, as well as the Freshmen, have secured their places as the Central California Conference, CCC, champions. The Varsity is well on its way to securing the title as well. If all three take the title, it will not only be the first time in history that a Varsity team will take the championship, but also the first time that they will take the triple crown, with all three teams ending in first place.
On the November 2, the Pride will enter the gym at our cross town rival’s school, Turlock High School, with a current record of 38-4 and try its best to prove they are the champions by improving their record with one more win. The season will come to an end for the J.V. and Freshmen, but the Varsity team, alongside Coach Pontes and Inman will continue to train, and start their post-season practicing.
The first volleyball playoff game will be on Tuesday November 8.
