So, who are these four, spirited, green men running around Pitman High School? The names are to be kept anonymous, but one thing is for sure, they are four of our students. These students chose to dress up in the green suits and support our school. They have made an appearance at both our rally and the homecoming game, in their efforts to get the fans full of effervescence.
The green men were a huge success, not only at the rally, but at the game too. The crazy crowd went cheering for our school. Students wanted pictures with them, as well as younger siblings in the stands. The men were running throughout the crowd, dancing and fooling around, and filling everyone with Pitman pride. Nearly everyone found them very amusing and unique!
Some people wonder if these students are genuinely outgoing all the time, or if their identity hidden, may allow them to become more social or peppy. Some people have no problem going in front of crowds and performing. Yet, there are those who are shy and prefer not to be the center of attention. With the comfort of a mask or green suit, a shy person may not feel embarrassed knowing that no one will recognize them. Shy or not, we’ll never know, but does it matter? These guys are awesome!
Every one of our mysterious green men come across as enthusiastic and appear to enjoy every minute of performing in support of Pitman. I asked one of the men what it’s to be inside the suit. He replied with, “The adrenaline runs through my veins, and everything is a green blur.” We look forward to seeing them soon. Who’s to say where or when these four mystery men will show up again?
