Previously, ranked number one in the country, Davis of Yolo, are set to take on the Prides varsity girls soccer team in the quarter-finals. After a tremendous season, the pride hosted a home play off opening game against Tokay of Lodi. In just the first four minutes of the game Annabel Perez, took a shot and kicked it into the back of the net. It proved to be the only goal need to beat Tokay. The final score being 5-0, goals from junior Marisa Marable, Hannah Verschlden and freshman Katie Hanf the team was ready for the semi-finals against the Lodi Flames. To finish off Lodi in sudden death double overtime, Marisa Marable got a break away, and was fouled in the box by the goalie, which resulted in a PK, and the final score was 1-0 Pride. In conclusion the overtime thriller against Lodi was a great way to get the Pride ready for the next round against Davis of Yolo. Which will be there greatest challenge of the season
